I was thinking it might be a good idea to append "(Important)" or "(Optional)" to all the sections in this guide. A sort of "uber-quickstart guide". Some of this stuff (like setting page properties) isn't necessary to get your content in a pageflipping book, so some people will want to skip those sections. If they're reading the quickstart guide, they're probably already flying through this, we could help them out by showing them which sections they might want to skip.
I choose not to make this change because it would probably look pretty ugly in the ToC. It might not be too bad, but I didn't want to be the one to uglify the page. Any prettier ideas? --Ecnassianer 23:38, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- Good idea.I guess I'll have to look through the guide more thoroughly some time anyway, to check if there's anything brutally out of date. As for the section marking, to just add them as a postfix to the section title should work fine, I guess? And if the optional passage is long maybe add a quick link to the next section at its beginning. --Fnuecke 00:47, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
